About This Treatment
IPL (intense pulsed light) uses broad-spectrum light rather than a laser. Our skin rejuvenation treatments are separate from IPL hair reduction and use settings selected for your skin concern.
These skin treatments are offered only for suitable candidates with Fitzpatrick skin types I–III (1–3). Your nurse practitioner reviews your skin, medications, recent tanning and medical history before confirming suitability. Results vary.

The goal of IPL active acne treatment is to reduce inflammatory acne lesions and redness in appropriate candidates. This treatment is only appropriate for Fitzpatrick skin types I–III (1, 2, 3), following an individual suitability assessment.
This is a separate IPL treatment from hair reduction, with its own settings, suitability criteria and treatment plan. Your nurse practitioner assesses your inflammatory acne, current skin condition, medications and recent tanning before recommending treatment. IPL is not suitable for every acne presentation and does not replace a personalized acne care plan. Results vary.
