Before Your Appointment
Botox & Daxxify Pre-Care
Avoid blood-thinning medications and supplements for 5–7 days before your appointment when medically safe — including aspirin, ibuprofen, naproxen, fish oil, vitamin E, ginkgo, ginseng and St. John's Wort. Never stop a prescribed medication without your doctor's approval.
Skip alcohol for at least 24 hours before treatment to reduce bruising and swelling.
Arrive with a clean, makeup-free face if possible — we'll cleanse the area regardless.
Eat a light meal beforehand and stay well hydrated.
Reschedule if you have an active cold sore, skin infection, rash, or are feeling unwell in the treatment area.
Let us know if you're pregnant, breastfeeding, have a neuromuscular disorder, or have had a recent dental procedure.
Avoid waxing, tinting, facials, chemical peels or laser treatments on the treatment area for 1 week prior.
After Your Appointment
Botox & Daxxify Post-Care
Stay upright for 4 hours — no lying flat, bending over for long periods, or napping immediately after.
Skip strenuous exercise, hot yoga, saunas and steam rooms for 24 hours to prevent product migration.
Don't rub, massage or apply pressure to the treated areas for at least 24 hours (this includes facials and microneedling).
Gently exercise the treated muscles a few times in the first hour — squint, smile, raise your brows — to help the product settle.
Avoid alcohol for 24 hours to minimize bruising and swelling.
Hold off on blood thinners, makeup application with heavy pressure, and tight headwear for the first 24 hours.
Mild redness, pinpoint bumps or tiny bruises at the injection sites are normal and resolve within a few hours to days.
Results begin appearing at day 3–5 with full effect at 10–14 days. Schedule a 2-week follow-up if you'd like a touch-up.
Call us right away if you experience drooping, blurred vision, difficulty swallowing, or any unusual symptoms.
